What an absolutely fabulous summer you all had with the Summer Learning Journey.

Waikowhai Primary School saw 91 of its learners participating in the SLJ programme. I was blown away by the support from the school and the teachers. Because we saw such an incredible number of participants as well as next-level support from the staff I decided to award Waikowhai Primary School with.....

The most outstanding School in Ako Hiko!

Hay Park School

Congratulations Hay Park School!

I was so excited to visit the participants and Hay Park School. Not only did they double the numbers of learners participating in the programme than last year but they also had the top blogger in Ako Hiko. 

Vitaraag Joshi received a total of 909 points by completing 60 activities and posting 316 comments. 

Congratulations to all the learners at Hay Park School! I am so proud of all the hard work you put into the Sumer Learning Journey over the summer.

Next to the Finish Line

Coming in only 1 hour behind Anna, we have our 2nd participant to reach the finish line!

Congratulations to Vitaraag. What an incredible journey you have taken to complete all 60 activities. You have worked so hard putting in a lot of effort into all your work. I am very proud to have been a part of your journey over the last few years.

I am looking forward to seeing some of the comments you make for other students supporting them to finish their journey too.

Our First Programme Finisher!

Can you believe it! Anna, from Christ the King School, has finished the entire programme. She was the first in Ako Hiko to complete all 60 activities. A massive congratulations to Anna for achieving something so incredible. This was her first time engaging in the Summer Learning Journey and I am so proud of her for powering through the entire programme.
